My Favorite Images of 2017

As the year winds down, I thought that I would share my personal favorite images that I created in 2017. It's been a whirlwind of a year and sometimes I'm not even sure what inspires me to shoot. Some shoots are planned, some images are digitally manipulated into something new, some I just have the camera along with me where I am already going, sometimes my pets do cute things, occasionally I'll run across an item at an estate sale or thrift store that gives me an idea and sometimes I just lock myself in the studio with the camera and see what happens. So here's a little recap of some of the images that I took in 2017:

15 Years - My Journey Into Stock Photography

Today marks a very big milestone for myself. It's been 15 years since I discovered my work passion! And it all happened because a little Google search that lead me not only to my future work, but to a type of work that I would love so much that it's sometimes hard to call it work at all. You see, I never really knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. College was something that was unaffordable for me so I got set up with a full-time office job right out of high school. While it seemed exciting at first, the concept of being paid for my time, it quickly turned sour for me and I sometimes couldn't bear the 8+ hours of boring, uncreative work that I was doing.
