Photographer specializing in stock
Sharon Dominick began her adventure into stock photography in late 2002 when she stumbled upon a website called istockphoto.com. While she never envisioned being a professional photographer, she soon discovered a deep passion for photography within herself. Her portfolio grew as did istockphoto.com which eventually opened up the doors to sell images though Getty Images as well. Sharon’s portfolio is full of many different subjects but she is probably best known for her silly "Fisheye Characters." Over 2000 of these large-headed characters have taken over her collection. These humorous images and others from her portfolio have been spotted everywhere from television commercials to magazine advertisements to billboards and more.
With the advancement of camera technology, Sharon was also able to expand her stock portfolio to include royalty-free video clips as well. She currently has over 800 clips available and plans to grow it with many more including funny fisheye character clips!
In 2018, Sharon expanded her creativity beyond the camera and dabbled in greeting card design and fell in love with it. With so many stock photos to work with and a love for graphic design, putting these two together made absolute sense! She was honored to be chosen as Greeting Card Universe's Best New Artist of 2018. She is continuing to add new cards daily and is always open to custom requests. Feel free to contact her if you are looking for something specific!
Sharon loves a good rock concert! Bringing her camera to a show doubles the pleasure of the concert experience. In her spare time, she contributes live concert images to a charitable website that she helped to create called HelpingHandsRockReviews.com.
